Sales Consultant

Nelson Automotive is six rooftop auto group that carries new Ford, Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, Cadillac, Toyota, Honda, Subaru, Kia and Mazda vehicles.  Previous auto sales associate experience is NOT REQUIRED for this position. Professional sales training will be provided. Those with experience in the financial services, mortgage, restaurant, real estate and banking industries have proven to be very successful when switching careers to Automotive Retail Sales. Qualified applicants should have a professional appearance, a high school degree (or equivalent). High-energy, driven, positive, self-motivated, out-going individuals with strong verbal communication skills WILL succeed as a Sales Associate with us! 

Requirements:
Must be 18 years old.
Must have a valid Virginia drivers license with a clean driving record.
Must be willing to acquire your automotive sales license.
Must complete manufacturer training and stay up on all vehicle knowledge.
Must be able to maintain customer follow up through the computer system and maintain detailed notes.

BDC Agent

Nelson Automotive is now accepting resumes for a Sales BDC Agent.  The ideal candidate must be flexible with hours, and willing to work Saturday's. This is a full-time position with a base plus bonus pay structure.

The mission of our BDC agents is to help convert Internet leads into floor ups (shown appointments) through quick, unique, meaningful, and consistent follow up. The BDC agent position requires strong communication skills and a drive to complete daily call requirements using an established sales process..

Previous experience in customer service, call centers, and retail experience is a plus. No automotive experience required! If you possess a "go-getter" mentality with experience working in a results-driven environment please apply.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all incoming sales inquiries are answered promptly, professionally and according to script
  • Conduct outbound calls to follow up with customers who have initiated contact with the dealership
  • Respond to customer email & chats
  • Consistently use The CRM to follow up with all customers and document each interaction
  • Log detailed current customer contact information and help update the database
  • Handle every lead using the established process
  • Show a sense of urgency in establishing contact and engagement of the customers
  • Serve the customer with a friendly, upbeat, and customer first attitude!

Skills/Qualifications:

Organized, Excellent Computer Skills, Results Driven, Persistence, Good Time Management, Customer Service, Handles Rejection, Professionalism, and Past Retail Experience are a plus.

Qualifications Skills/Requirements:

  • 1+ years of call center experience and/ or BDC experience desirable
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Confident personality-"Go-getter!"
  • Must be motivated to reach and exceed goals
  • Strong Computer and Internet Skills
  • Rotating shifts and alternating Saturdays
  • Must be willing to submit to and pass both a background check and a drug test

Compensation: Receive an hourly rate based on experience plus performance-based bonuses
